2nd Birthday party

"Happy 2nd Birthday Kshreya"
We planned Princess Theme for her 2nd birthday party, but this time our guest list was more than the 1st birthday.. It was coming around 40 adults and kids. We searched a lot for the venue which should be convenient and accessible for us and guests too..Finally we booked The Burlington Hall. It was big enough for 40 people and it had kitchen which was a plus for us as we didn't want to serve cold food... We wanted it to be hot, so that it can taster better.
We planned to celebrate on 15th May though her actual birthday is on 19th May, but 15th was a weekend. We decorated the Hall with the help of some friends, and it was looking awesome.. Thanks Nitin , Srinu for such a big help.
On the Menu List there was :
Starters -
  • Kachori
  • Chips
  • Tostitos with Beans, tamarind and green Chutney

Main Course -

  • Kadhai Paneer
  • Palak Paneer
  • Masala Chane
  • Pasta
  • Naan
  • Tandoori Roti
  • Pink and White Rice
  • Papad
  • Pickle
  • Salad
  • Soda

Desert -

  • Kulfi ( Pink and Purple )
  • Cake

Games And Crafts :

I kept Pin the Donkey Tail, which everyone played and it was real fun.
And for crafts I kept some Disney priness printables to color, kept some crayons on the table so that kids would be busy in these activities
Kept some Stikered foam shapes and plain sheets of construction paper with different shape scissors, which kept kids busy all time.

Kshreya wore Blue dress and was looking really pretty and i really missed her hair, unless she would have been looked like a princess, but never mind.. She was bit cranky too as she was tired and didn't get much of our time because of all these preparations. She didn't cut the cake so I cut it, and everybody sang " Happy Birthday "... Beautiful moment..

After cake Cutting everybody had cake and just after that we served food.. kapilji was there in the kitchen and Aditya, Sarita helped him in that. Everybody just loved food. It was near to perfection... But kshreya kept clinging on me all the time.. Archana took her for sometime and then Kapilji and I htook Dinner.. Deser was the last, but everyone appreciated the color which was our theme color i.e pink and purple. After all these activities, guests gave gifts to kshreya and started leaving. We told eveyone to write their wishes on a sheet which we prepared with kshreya's photo and gave a personalized Thankyou card to all adult guests and Returns gifts to all the kids...We gave gifts to the kids who won the Game and Craft session

Craft session : Shri and Prakshi made birthay card for kshreya, so they won

It wa all and all fun filed birthday of kshreya.. The real birthday we will enjoy just with her...

Ye Mera Lehnga....

O My god, how pretty she was looking today in that Lehnga, really. Divya had made that lehnga for kshreya on Dussehra, but by that time kshreyu had not learned to sit properly. I was just thinking of that Effort of Divya nd thought of trying it once again today.. And kshreya was just looking Awesome... she stood with the support of glass sliding door of our living room. And when she got tired, she sat down. Her feet was in different position that it was looking so pretty as if she is giving some poses for the best shots. I took lots of pictures and she was enjoying that. She was holdinh her lahnga and pulling it up to hold the ball she had on her lahenga.. and looking so cute.. No doubt, she didn't look at the camera as she was busy playing with her toys, but never mind, atleast she is sitting quite and she could let me do my work. Davis Island..

We were just lazy today, got up late and playing with Pari..Then Prajit called up at 1:30 PM and asked for Davis Island. We had no such plans for the day so we got ready. We started at 4:00 PM. It was windy weather today too, we went with Shraddha, Prajit and Divya. Arun was not there, as he went to attend some conference out of state. We just chatted out there. It was not green as earlier. Grass was dry and pale, shortcoming of water...but we had our entertainer with us... ofcourse kshreyu... little bit time pass with her... after one and a half hour we thought of going back.. Prajit had also some work in the lab, so we started from there. We went to hillsborough for the vegetables, took that.. Divya was with us. We got afraid of kshreyu's eczema, it was spreading on her forehead too. so wanted to buy some ointment for her, Vitamin shoppee was closed, In CVS, the cream was costly, and in walmart it was out of stock... Bad luck... We will buy it tommorrow for sure.. I can't...
