Kshreyu's First B'day Party..
Kshreyu's b'day is on 19th May, but we are moving to minneapolis on 2oth May, so decided to celebrate it on weekend that is 17th may 2009.
We've added the first batch of pictures from Kshreyu's birthday party to the album, but there will be more to come. We'll make another post as soon as the new ones are added.

Kshreyu had a great time although she appeared to be very serious, even in these pictures. She was taking in the whole scene -- the guests, the decoration, the cake, everything. In the starting she was bit cranky, but later on she was playing with everybody and esp. with Ximena's daughter Danelia.
For the guests, we made a presentation of kshreyu's first year i.e from birth till one year of kshreyu. We took Projector and displayed the presentation in the dining area,which was the safest area of the home that day. Showing presentation was the highlight of the party.
I was so excited to see kshreyu having the first taste of sugary birthday cake. But we couldn't try that, as two days back we got the allery test report and doctor told that kshreyu has severe allergy with eggs. But she was enjoying all other things.
After cake cutting, it was Dinner time. Kapilji and Me made the whole food , and the menu included :
- Masala Chana
- Mughlai Paneer
- Rice - Raaiyta
- Masala Naan
- Salad
So, it was all set and everybody took Dinner, and everybody liked it too..we couldn't take much of the pictures as usual, our memory card had some problem, so we don't have much of pictures. That was the day of ups and downs, but in the end everything was fine. Kshreyu was happy with so many people at home. Icecream or cake was a choice for dessert. And that is how we celebrated kshreyu's first b'day.
We made personalized thankyou card for every guest, so we gave them thankyou note while leaving, and it was a fun day with all... Thankyou everyone for coming and showing love and blessings to her
