Newyork ? Niagra Trip

After a long time, we tok a break of our schedule and took a trip to Newyork / Niagra... Though i was not so excited about Newyork as i didn't know how kshreya would respond in a crowded city, but i was ezcited to meet Kapilji's college buddiesand theor family. We had an early morning flight from Minneapolis to newyork at 7:00 A.M. on 3rd september 2009 , so kapilji's labmate Nitin dropped us at the airport. Kshreya was also surprised that where we were going so early. We took flight and reached Newyork at around 11:00. From there actually we had to go to pankaj's place ( Manchester, CT ), which is 2 hours drive from newyork , so we took rental car and safely reached manchester. Kshreya took big naps in the flight and in the car too. She just woke up when we parked our car in front of pankaj's place.So it was great, and after meeting EEra, we felt so touched. EEra is pankaj and rohini's daughter and she is really charming. She smiles beautifully. We didn't do much on that day and just relaxed at home, looking both the kids plaing was awesome... kshreya was quite silent, she is my shy baby always....uuhh.. kapilji felt so happy meeting pankaj...in the night we were doing some masti with Jay ( the other friend), we use to tell him that we are not interested in going to Niagra and it would be so tiresome with the kids.. it was all fun... kapilji had company for bear too...
On 4th september, in the noon kapilji and pankaj went to pick jay and divya from the airport... and the drama of cancellation of niagra was still on...they came home, we met them and then all 3 guys went to take the rental van for rest of the trip.. in the night we convinced them that w will go somewhere else then Niagra, but i could see some sadness... so in the night, i talked to kapilji that we should go to niagra....and he agreed..
On 5th , again he projected again about niagra and everyone consented... all were happy... so we started for newyork on 5th.... we spent time on Times square and roamed the downtown with " Hip up Hip On " ... we saw " liberty of statue" and we dine out and started towards niagra at around 11:30 PM. ...kapilji drove in the night till 4 AM... the drive was beautful.. it was foggy too.. so i told him to take rest till tomorrow... We called up the motels and hotels, and finally got one of our range, and stayed there, so tiresome.....
We woke up at 9:00 in the morning and got ready, there was microwave in the hotel room, and we had ready to eat food, so we all took that...( no complimentary breakfast ).. we started from there at around 11:15 AM, and reached niagra at around 1:30 PM. It was so crowded because of the long weekend, and lots of indian too... Niagra is beautiful and kshreyu enjoyed her walk on the grass close by... our family and pankaj's family didn't go to the "maid of the mist" as it had a long que... so we took lunch... and then again went spent time there, again went towards niagra and saw the light show, but kshreya was crying because we weredenying her to do what she wated... she wanted to pass in between the bushes.. took dinner after that... again we started towards newyork in the night at around 11:00, we drove till 4 and took rest in "Days INN".. we woke up early and took breakfast after getting ready... then we started from there and reached at 2:00 PM. because of traffic jam.... we didn't do much there, time was wasted because we didn't go to anywhere like empire state building... not much for us that day.. finally we went to "Toysrus" then we ate dinner finally at chipotle and spent last hours at times square with all other friends.... finally at around 11:30, they dropped us at the airport and kapilji took some nap on the airport and i was awake for the whole night... we took flight at 6:00 AM and reached home at 8:30 AM, and then all the ZZZZZ's.... ha ha ha .....
It was not justa trip, it was a kind of friends reunion for us... meeting them after a long time was great .....
