Flying to Minneapolis..




Kapilji has got new post doctorate in University Of Minnesota, Minneapolis. And we couldn't sleep the whole night on 19th May 2009, as we were busy in cleaning and vaccating the house. We had flight early in the morning at 8:30 A.M. So we Prajit and shraddha came at aroung 6:00 A.M. to drop us to the Tampa Airport. kshreyu also got up early and I dressed her. They dropped us to the airport and we checked in and flight was almost on time. But while waiting for the flight, pari was playing on the kids playground area. She was not so excited as maybe she was sleepy too.
We took flight for Chicago as it was the we had one stop flight at chicago. The good thing was that kshreyu was alright instead happy in the flight... We were scared that it was her first flying experience , but it all went well. We reached chicago at around 10:30 A.M. And kshreyu were getting irritated in the stroller, she just wanted to be held. And after so much attempts of keeping her in the stroller, I held her. But still she was not feeling good, maybe she didn't eat anything than chips , that's why... Then I got tired and I sat down on the floor with kshreyu, near the window. Kshreyu was then so happy and excited, she was happy watching airplanes coming and going. She was having some chips again. She just played there. Then we took fight from chicago to minneapolis. And guess what ??? Ksheryu again slept during flight. And finally we reached minneapolis at aroung 1:30 PM . Tampa and Minneapolis had 1 hour time gap. Kapilji's friend Srinu came to pick us up at the airport. But O god, his car was filled with all the luggages, but somehow we managed with kshreyu, sorry srinu, it was not your fault.. it was completely ours, we took so much luggages.. ha ha ha.. and we came home ... tired... kshreyu slept after coming to home...
So, first flying experience with kshreyu was good... kapilji and me also enjoyed....

Ye Mera Lehnga....

O My god, how pretty she was looking today in that Lehnga, really. Divya had made that lehnga for kshreya on Dussehra, but by that time kshreyu had not learned to sit properly. I was just thinking of that Effort of Divya nd thought of trying it once again today.. And kshreya was just looking Awesome... she stood with the support of glass sliding door of our living room. And when she got tired, she sat down. Her feet was in different position that it was looking so pretty as if she is giving some poses for the best shots. I took lots of pictures and she was enjoying that. She was holdinh her lahnga and pulling it up to hold the ball she had on her lahenga.. and looking so cute.. No doubt, she didn't look at the camera as she was busy playing with her toys, but never mind, atleast she is sitting quite and she could let me do my work. Davis Island..

We were just lazy today, got up late and playing with Pari..Then Prajit called up at 1:30 PM and asked for Davis Island. We had no such plans for the day so we got ready. We started at 4:00 PM. It was windy weather today too, we went with Shraddha, Prajit and Divya. Arun was not there, as he went to attend some conference out of state. We just chatted out there. It was not green as earlier. Grass was dry and pale, shortcoming of water...but we had our entertainer with us... ofcourse kshreyu... little bit time pass with her... after one and a half hour we thought of going back.. Prajit had also some work in the lab, so we started from there. We went to hillsborough for the vegetables, took that.. Divya was with us. We got afraid of kshreyu's eczema, it was spreading on her forehead too. so wanted to buy some ointment for her, Vitamin shoppee was closed, In CVS, the cream was costly, and in walmart it was out of stock... Bad luck... We will buy it tommorrow for sure.. I can't...
