Holi Celebration ....2009

Though HOLI is on 11th March this year, but " Student of Indian Association ( SIA )" has organized it on 8th March 2009 at Riverfront Park from 11:00 A.M to 4:00 PM. This was kshreyu's first holi, so how could we miss that and truly speaking there was real fun. they organized a small pool, colors, pichkaari, food, music... means a whole package of entertainment. We reached there at aroung 2:00 with all other friends - parul, priyesh, shraddha, prajit, divya , arun... all of them colored each other with great pleasure... then everybody took food, then danced.... And that day was a surprise day for me.... Yeah, Kshreyu was happy that day, she was dancing on the music, she was really enjoying all the colors and people... I guess she couldn't recognize them, that's why she was clam. At around 3:45 PM we went to parul's home with divya too. She had made "gajar ka halwa".....yummy........... And then priyesh called up Shridhar to color him.... hamari holi to abhi shuru hui thee... our holi was just started... after shridhar, we all went to piyalis home but by then kshreyu got irritated with color on her clothes, so we came back home to change her clothes, and again she was ready for the celebration... we again went to Piyali's home. i forgot to taste "AAMPAPAD"... Then we started for shraddha's home, they were taking rest, but this devil party made them awake and color them. Mr. Ingle also came there. Vo bhi nahin bach saka ...Everybody took tea at shraddha's home then we along with shraddha we all went to SAI and Ranjus home at Sunridge APTS. to play holi, Then they also came along with us, Then we went to padmini's home, did the same procedure, took pictures, then to Biplob's home, and finally Shikha's place.Actually Divya called Shikha to Dine outside, and they got ready to go. So we all went to their apartments and waiting for them as they were in the university.... they came , we all color them, they color us .....
And that's how we celebrated HOLI.... Everybody went to Hotel Udupi for dinner except us... Yes, kshreyu was sleepy and tired, she wanted to rest....So we came back home at arond 8:00PM.
It was a great Holi ....

Ye Mera Lehnga....

O My god, how pretty she was looking today in that Lehnga, really. Divya had made that lehnga for kshreya on Dussehra, but by that time kshreyu had not learned to sit properly. I was just thinking of that Effort of Divya nd thought of trying it once again today.. And kshreya was just looking Awesome... she stood with the support of glass sliding door of our living room. And when she got tired, she sat down. Her feet was in different position that it was looking so pretty as if she is giving some poses for the best shots. I took lots of pictures and she was enjoying that. She was holdinh her lahnga and pulling it up to hold the ball she had on her lahenga.. and looking so cute.. No doubt, she didn't look at the camera as she was busy playing with her toys, but never mind, atleast she is sitting quite and she could let me do my work. Davis Island..

We were just lazy today, got up late and playing with Pari..Then Prajit called up at 1:30 PM and asked for Davis Island. We had no such plans for the day so we got ready. We started at 4:00 PM. It was windy weather today too, we went with Shraddha, Prajit and Divya. Arun was not there, as he went to attend some conference out of state. We just chatted out there. It was not green as earlier. Grass was dry and pale, shortcoming of water...but we had our entertainer with us... ofcourse kshreyu... little bit time pass with her... after one and a half hour we thought of going back.. Prajit had also some work in the lab, so we started from there. We went to hillsborough for the vegetables, took that.. Divya was with us. We got afraid of kshreyu's eczema, it was spreading on her forehead too. so wanted to buy some ointment for her, Vitamin shoppee was closed, In CVS, the cream was costly, and in walmart it was out of stock... Bad luck... We will buy it tommorrow for sure.. I can't...
