First Peditrician Visit..

Today was a hard day for we all as kshreya got her first shot - a Hepatitis-B vaccine at her first doctor appointment. Since she doesn't cry or fuss too much, so this was a bit traumatic for us, I want to say that i couldnt even look while Kshreya got her shot. kapilji had to do all the big task. I was standing the other side and waiting for the cry, but kapilji did a fantastic job as he was calming pari with all his effort. And now it was my turn, I nursed Kshreya right after the shot to soothe her from pain and distress. by the time we were done nursing, the shot was a distant memory and our little kshreya was ready for the afternoon nap.
In other health issues, doctor said that Pari is doing pretty good. She weighted in at 6lbs., 10oz. and measured 20 inches. Although, she gained an inch from birth. We had no such queries as she was sleeping all through the night, no colic.
Next visit will be at two months, when she will get four shots, two in each leg. I hope we have enough time to prepare ourselves emotionally.

Ye Mera Lehnga....

O My god, how pretty she was looking today in that Lehnga, really. Divya had made that lehnga for kshreya on Dussehra, but by that time kshreyu had not learned to sit properly. I was just thinking of that Effort of Divya nd thought of trying it once again today.. And kshreya was just looking Awesome... she stood with the support of glass sliding door of our living room. And when she got tired, she sat down. Her feet was in different position that it was looking so pretty as if she is giving some poses for the best shots. I took lots of pictures and she was enjoying that. She was holdinh her lahnga and pulling it up to hold the ball she had on her lahenga.. and looking so cute.. No doubt, she didn't look at the camera as she was busy playing with her toys, but never mind, atleast she is sitting quite and she could let me do my work. Davis Island..

We were just lazy today, got up late and playing with Pari..Then Prajit called up at 1:30 PM and asked for Davis Island. We had no such plans for the day so we got ready. We started at 4:00 PM. It was windy weather today too, we went with Shraddha, Prajit and Divya. Arun was not there, as he went to attend some conference out of state. We just chatted out there. It was not green as earlier. Grass was dry and pale, shortcoming of water...but we had our entertainer with us... ofcourse kshreyu... little bit time pass with her... after one and a half hour we thought of going back.. Prajit had also some work in the lab, so we started from there. We went to hillsborough for the vegetables, took that.. Divya was with us. We got afraid of kshreyu's eczema, it was spreading on her forehead too. so wanted to buy some ointment for her, Vitamin shoppee was closed, In CVS, the cream was costly, and in walmart it was out of stock... Bad luck... We will buy it tommorrow for sure.. I can't...
