All About Kshreya..

We bought new princess bed for kshreya since back but she was sleeping with us on our bed... Today we were discussing that now she should sleep in her own bed and kept her bed in our bedroom beside our bed. We told kshreya that she has to sleep there and she was very excited with that. And today is third day in a row and my princess is sleeping in her princess bed.. Sweetheart , you are growing very fast...

" Happy 2nd Birthday Kshreya" We planned Princess Theme for her 2nd birthday party, but this time our guest list was more than the 1st birthday.. It was coming around 40 adults and kids. We searched a lot for the venue which should be convenient and accessible for us and guests too..Finally we booked The Burlington Hall. It was big enough for 40 people and it had kitchen which was a plus for us as we didn't want to serve cold food... We wanted it to be hot, so that it can taster better. We planned to celebrate on 15th May though her actual birthday is on 19th May, but 15th was a weekend. We decorated the Hall with the help of some friends, and it was looking awesome.. Thanks Nitin , Srinu for such a big help. On the Menu List there was : Starters - Kachori Chips Tostitos with Beans, tamarind and green Chutney Main Course - Kadhai Paneer Palak Paneer Masala Chane Pasta Naan Tandoori Roti Pink and White Rice Papad Pickle Salad Soda Desert - Kulfi ( Pink and Purple ) Cake ...

Kshreya is getting more expressive now a days.. she does all funny things , like coloring her hands , feet with color , and climbing stairs without support.. She tries to sing twinkle twinkle little star, and ABC's ... she loves all these activities.. It really touches my heart when she says Mumma hug or Papa Hug before sleep, that means that we should hug her so that she can feel sleep... I know she feels very secure in our arms and we feel very satisfied to take her in our arms.. Its a great bond ...

Yesterday, I was surprised when kshreyu was having bath in the bath tub playing with her toys. She picked up an empty shampoo bottle and put it on the bottom of the tub, and as it was empty it floated on the water, and she laughed on a high note. I then, picked up some heavy things to tell her the difference between floating and sinking... she was not enthusiastic about sinking things, but was very happy to see something floating..I think its time to recall homemade boat, so that she can play more and enjoy this activity.....

At ECFE , it was a Valentine theme in the craft section, Miss Lee sang poems of Valentine, then every kiddo has to mae valentines card for mommy daddy or a dear friend. They kept hand paint to take handprint on the card.. kshreya was very happy with the paint and behaved like a good girl while Dear Daddy was applying paint on her hand...we took the print on the provided paper..and rest of the things i did, I like all this too... It was her first valentine's card to us.. and we were so very happy.. And in the end, Miss Lee ended with the regular poem: "Open Shut and Open Shut, Put your hands up High, Open shut and Open Shut Time to say good Bye..."

Yesterday, Sireesha, Srinu , sudhir and jyoti came to meet us, and we just had a talk about kshreya's hair. Sireesha said that after making her bald, maybe her hair would grow better. Then I talked to kapilji and today without giving any second thought, we went to Great Clips to make her bald. She cried a bit but it wouldn't took lot of time, so she was fine after that... I was walways in the dilema to cut her hair or not, now we have done it and crossing our fingers... I really wish that her hair would grow soon and in a better way... All the very best Betu...
