All About Kshreya..

Its weekend and Daddy was at home. Early morning time is the best cuddling time with Kshreyu... she was looking so pinky pinky and I had a pink stole nearby, so daddy wrapped it on kshreyu's head like a turban.. punjaabiyaan di kudi hegi.... As soon as we saw her in that turban, I recollected the Jhansi ki Rani pic of my text book and kapilji told she looks like a politician...Infact he made her to pose like folded hands as politicians do.... Good that we can do anything with our own baby....

Isha, Pari and Dear Daddy woke up early and get ready for the rakshabandhan. Isha and me were missing Raju and Kapilji was missing her Sister, so this year kshreyu is here to tie rakhi to Dear Daddy... And isha also tied rakhi to kapilji and Thakurji ( Krishna Bhagwaan ). Kapilji wore black favorite kurta, And Kshreya had her new Pink dress brought from Burlingtom, and she was looking like a fairy... Isha wore red kurta with jeans.. And where i was.. i was taking pictures and having fun by watching kshreyu and Dear Daddy's first Rakhi...

Sarla Mam invited for Laxmi Puja at her home in the evening. And Kshreyu was just excited when i was making her ready to go out. This was her first denim Skirt, we purchased it from K-Mart. We reached there early, only harish was there, after sometime everybody came... We started puja and she was telling us how to do all the puja work, it was new to us. We all did it with heart. Then Sang Aarti, Ranjini also sang one Aarti in her mother tongue, we couldn't understand the words but it was very sacred, we could feel that. And About kshreya, she was the center of attraction, sarla mam was very happy to see her.. Sarla mam was playing with her, she was making her jump... it was great that fro sometime somebody else look after kshreya... Sarla mam gave one dress for her too....

Snow white-Snow white , Our Miss Snow white... Don't worry, I am not going to tell you the story of " Snow-white and the Seven Dwarfs".... Actually she got a compliment from one of my friend ritu, she called her Snow-White. She is not as paerly as Snow white, but her dress is...And her green eyes looks pretty on that dress... The complexion doesn't matter, but our heart should be pure as white, and i pray for the same for kshreyu's too.... Don't get stuck in my words, just enjoy some snowy Pics...

Yesterday we bought a pink Boppy Pillow from K-Mart for kshreyu so that she can sit with some support. As she doesn't want to lay down so she needs some support to sit. But she didn't like it at all. She started crying when we first put her in that as if she is surrounded by something new.. We tried the the tummy position too, but in vain. She doesn't stay on her tummy, she cries and we can't see her crying. Daddy holded her hand and she calmed down for a while but she was sort of uncomfortable... Every Baby is different In needs, so is she....

Today kshreyu had some swimming pool experience with Daddy. Actually I read somewhere that parents shouldnot allow kids under 1 to swim, there are certain reasons for that. The major is that can cuase ear infection or any other kind of infection can happen to your baby as the immune system has not fully grown by then. So today kshreya got just her feet wet in the swimming pool, poor baby.... but not to worry kshreya, once you will 1 year old, we will make you learn swimming. But Dear daddy really enjoyed in the pool and so did kshreyu. Pari is just like her father really, not me , everybody says... She also loves being in the water...I took some walk during this lovable time of Daddy and Little Angel... This is the favorite time to get realxed for both of them, and i love watching them relaxing..

In our culture, we worship little girls as god ( Mata ). Birth of a girl child means arrival of Godess Laxmi (godess of wealth) in your home. And I have very much faith in that. I always think that God always come to ones life in disguise of a little girl. Person who worship god is far ahead then anyone. Today, i was cleaning my home temple and got and idea to look kshreyu in Laal Duppatta as Jagdamba Ma does. I took another veil and kept it on kshreyu's head. And i must say she was really looking different. She had charm on her face. Actually we named her kshreya when we got to know the meaning of it. Earlier kapilji had double thought in his mind about this name but when he got to know that Shreya means " auspicious " and another name of "goddess laxmi" he agreed. But we placed "K" in front of her name as we both have names starting from "K". These pics are not just pics , these are to be worshipped too.

Today we had no work to do, so Isha, me , kapilji , we all were getting bore and also kshreyu love sto be out, so we thought of doing some window-shopping... window shopping don't remain till window, generally we come home with shopping bags... that's the difference with the baby... maybe one generates the needs... we will discuss the needs later on , but for now about our University Mall trip. After a long time I was looking good, hmmm, my hubby said that...kshreyu was in pink dress and pink band on her head... KShreyu was laughing in her car seat. Today she is keeping her tongue out of her mouth, we saw that many times. We went to Sears, Then burlington... we saw a beautiful crib in burlington, and i couldn't stop myself of putting kshreyu in ... I know its bad, but I am a Mom... We bought Kshreya's dress from burlington, again PINK... and afetr coming home kshreyu played in dear daddy's lap.. She loves to be with her dad...
