All About Kshreya..

We finally got a first toothless grin of our baby Pari. Of course we had seen Kshreya's smile in her sleep as her brain worked all of her muscles and reflexes, but this was the first time we could see a true smile while Kshreyu was awake and interacting with us. And, it wasn't a gassy movement moment. Unfortunately we were ready with the digital camera, and we could catch that moment while in sleep and was awake as well. We can't wait to see more and more of Kshreyu's smiles as the weeks, months and years unfold.

After a tiring experience at hospital, finally Doctor gave us a thumbs up for the home today. Kapilji and I were left packing up the room and getting ready to leave. The final step was to "pack" Kshreya up. We put Kshreya into her "going home" outfit and shortly thereafter she feel asleep. It was the time to say bye-bye to while onesis from the hospital, ofcourse she was in pink outfit. We put her in the car as she was all cozy in her car-seat. We arrived home in the afternoon, Getting out of hospital is not a very quick process. But we were happy to take our daughter to her home for the first time. It was a special time for both of us. kapilji was so happy, which i could saw on his face. Isha was waiting for us at home, and she made the meal ready for us. At the home, Pari was given a quick tour, and then we placed her on the bed. These pictures were taken within minutes of her laying down. She was looking adorable in her pink outfit. Pari had a very busy day today with visits from doctors, nurses and guests. She passed her hearing test with flying colors and already show signs of turning her head towards the familiar voices. I always thought that baby doent open their eyes , But Kshreyu regularly opens her eyes and looks around. She has no problem of moving her head from one side to other, Ofcourse she is a strong girl.. The Peditrician gave her a thumbs up for today.. We could not take the picture as She was so busy, so we orgot to ask. Its a great feeling that she is very good in latching so i had no problem in nursing her.. Both Mom and Kshreyu are doing their best to catch so much needed rest... and Daddy is also going to do the same... Tired..

With Much Joy and Happiness We Welcome Our Little bundle of joy " Kshreya " She is a new addition to our family and made a grand enterance into the world via C-section. She is born on 19th May 2008, at St. Joseph Women's Hospital . At 06lbs. 8oz. and 19 long, KSHREYA is a healthy and beautiful girl. I was worried about her health as her AFP screening was positive but I filled with joy when I saw her for the first time. kapil and Me were ecstatic on her arrival. What a day !!
